1

Navigate to Commissions Dashboard

Access your commission overview from the Agent Dashboard:

  • Go to Agent Dashboard → Commissions from the sidebar navigation
  • The dashboard shows four summary cards: Total Earned, Pending, Available to Withdraw, and Projected This Month
  • Below the summary, view a timeline chart showing your earnings over the past 30, 90, or 365 days
  • Use the date picker to analyze earnings for any custom period
2

Understanding Commission Structure

Your commission is calculated as a percentage of your clients' platform earnings:

How It Works

When a client earns money through any platform transaction, your agreed-upon commission percentage is automatically calculated and allocated to your account.

Client earns $10,000 from a sponsorship deal
Your commission rate: 15%
Your commission: $1,500

Commission rates are set individually per client during onboarding. You can view and manage rates from Clients → [Client Name] → Commission Settings.

3

View Commission History

Your commission history is organized by status for easy tracking:

Paid

Commissions that have been released to your wallet. Click any entry to see transaction details.

Pending

Commissions from deals that are confirmed but waiting for the payment cycle. Typically releases within 7–14 days.

Projected

Estimated commissions from active deals and ongoing campaigns. These are not yet confirmed and may change.

Use the filter and search tools to find specific commissions by client name, deal type, date range, or status.

4

Commission Sources

Commissions can come from multiple revenue streams on IPX:

Sponsorship Deals

When brands purchase sponsorship slots on your client's projects

Token Sales

When investors purchase your client's IP tokens during sales or on secondary markets

Brand Deals

Campaign payments, influencer marketing fees, and collaboration income

Revenue Share

Ongoing revenue distributions from your client's published IP projects

The Sources breakdown chart on your dashboard shows the proportion of earnings from each category, helping you understand where your income is concentrated.

5

Payout Schedule and Withdrawal

Withdraw your earned commissions to your preferred destination:

  • Payout Cycle: Pending commissions are released bi-weekly (1st and 15th of each month). You'll receive a notification when funds become available.
  • Withdraw to Wallet: Click "Withdraw" on the Commissions page. Funds move instantly to your IPX wallet as USDC.
  • Off-Ramp to Bank: From your wallet, use the Off-Ramp feature to convert USDC to fiat and transfer to your bank account (1–3 business days).
  • Auto-Withdraw: Set up automatic withdrawals to move available commissions to your wallet on each payout cycle.
6

Set Up Earning Notifications

Stay informed about your commission activity with customizable alerts:

  • Go to Settings → Notifications → Commission Alerts
  • New Commission: Get notified when a new commission is earned from a client deal
  • Payout Ready: Notification when pending commissions become available for withdrawal
  • Milestone Alerts: Celebrate when you hit earning milestones ($1K, $5K, $10K, etc.)
  • Choose delivery method: in-app, email, SMS, or all three
7

Tax Documentation

IPX provides tools to help you stay compliant with tax obligations:

  • Annual Earnings Summary: Download a comprehensive summary of all commissions earned during the tax year, organized by client and source type.
  • Transaction History Export: Download detailed CSV exports of every commission transaction for your accountant or tax filing software.
  • Tax Forms: If applicable, IPX generates tax reporting forms (e.g., 1099 for US-based agents) available in your Settings → Tax Documents section by January 31st each year.

Disclaimer: IPX provides transaction data for your convenience but is not a tax advisor. Consult a qualified tax professional for specific guidance on reporting crypto-based and commission income.

Tips & Best Practices

Check your dashboard weekly

Regular check-ins help you spot trends, identify top-earning clients, and catch any discrepancies early.

Track per-client performance

Use the client breakdown view to understand which clients generate the most commission. This helps you allocate your time and attention strategically.

Plan around payout cycles

Know when your payouts are scheduled (1st and 15th) so you can plan withdrawals and manage cash flow effectively.

Export records monthly

Download commission reports monthly for your records. Don't wait until tax season — staying organized throughout the year saves significant time.

Diversify commission sources

Encourage clients to pursue multiple revenue streams (sponsorships, token sales, campaigns) to create a more stable and predictable commission income.

Troubleshooting

Commission not showing up

Problem: A client completed a deal but you don't see a corresponding commission.

Solution:

Check the following:

  • Commissions appear once the deal payment is confirmed — this can take 24–48 hours
  • Verify the deal type is covered by your commission agreement with that client
  • Check the "Pending" tab — it may not have moved to "Paid" yet
  • Ensure your agent-client relationship is still active and the commission agreement is signed
  • Contact support with the deal ID if the issue persists

Withdrawal failed

Problem: You tried to withdraw commissions but the transaction failed.

Solution:

Common withdrawal issues:

  • Ensure you're withdrawing from "Available" funds, not "Pending"
  • Check that your wallet is properly set up and verified
  • Minimum withdrawal amount is $10 — ensure your balance meets this threshold
  • If withdrawing to a bank, verify your bank account details are correct
  • Try again in a few minutes — network congestion can occasionally cause delays

Commission amount seems incorrect

Problem: The commission amount doesn't match what you expected based on your rate.

Solution:

Verify the calculation:

  • Check the commission rate for that specific client — rates may differ per client
  • Platform fees are deducted before commission calculation (commission is on net earnings)
  • Some deal types may have different commission rates if configured that way
  • View the detailed breakdown by clicking on the commission entry
  • Contact support if the calculation still seems incorrect after review
