Configure your embedded wallet and secure your assets
IPX uses Coinbase Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) to provide you with a secure, non-custodial wallet that's automatically created when you sign up. You don't need any crypto knowledge or browser extensions - it just works! Your wallet is secured by your IPX account and you maintain full control of your private keys.
Your IPX wallet is automatically created when you sign up. Unlike traditional crypto wallets, you don't need to install browser extensions or manage seed phrases immediately. However, we strongly recommend backing up your recovery phrase as soon as possible.
When you create your IPX account (via email or Google OAuth), a wallet is automatically created for you in the background. You don't need to do anything!
Your wallet is initialized on the Base L2 blockchain, which means fast and low-cost transactions. The wallet address is unique to you and tied to your IPX account.
That's it! Your wallet is ready to use. You can now add funds, purchase tokens, and start investing.
Click on your profile picture or username in the top right corner, then select "Wallet" from the dropdown menu.
Shortcut: You can also navigate directly to /wallet

Your recovery phrase is the ONLY way to restore your wallet if you lose access to your account. Without it, your funds could be permanently lost. We do not store your recovery phrase and cannot recover it for you.
On your wallet page, click the "Settings" or "Security" tab.
Click "Reveal Recovery Phrase". You'll be prompted to verify your identity (password or 2FA).
Security Warning: Only view your recovery phrase in a private, secure location. Never share it with anyone, including IPX support staff.
Your recovery phrase is 12-24 words. Write them down on paper in the exact order shown.
IPX will ask you to verify your backup by selecting a few words from your recovery phrase in the correct order. This ensures you've written it down correctly.
This is your deposited fiat currency. You can use it to:

Use a unique, strong password that you don't use anywhere else.
Write down and securely store your 12-24 word recovery phrase.
Always verify you're on ipx.exchange. We'll never ask for your recovery phrase.
Never share your password, 2FA codes, or recovery phrase with anyone.
Check your wallet activity regularly for any unauthorized transactions.
