Is FAN SZN free?+
Yes. You play with your knowledge and your time. Nothing to buy, and the game never asks how much you’ve spent.
Do I need a wallet or crypto to play?+
No. Connect X and follow @IPXExchange to play. A wallet is only needed later if you are eligible to claim.
Do I need an IPX account?+
Not to play — X is all you need. Already on IPX? Link your account from the Hub for bonus Aura. New to IPX? Claim early access with your email and you join the IPX OS waitlist. An IPX account is what you claim with later.
How long does it take?+
About 2 minutes a day for the Daily Drop. The Fan Check on day one takes about 2 minutes too.
What if I miss a day?+
You Fell Off and your streak goes back to Day 1, unless you have an Encore, which saves it automatically. Invite friends to earn Encores.
Can I change my fandom?+
Once, for free, until Wed 11 Nov 23:59 UTC (05:29 IST Thu). After that fandoms lock for the season.
When do Bands and Fandom Wars start?+
After TGE. Launch week is solo play plus Plus-Ones; Bands (crews of 4–5, mixed fandoms) and Fandom Wars follow in the post-TGE season. Dates TBC.
Are the fandoms official or linked to the artists?+
No. Fandoms are fan-run communities and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any artist.
How do you stop bots and multiple accounts?+
X account checks, one account per wallet, timed questions, device checks and a hand audit of the top 1,000 before any reward. Multiple accounts are disqualified.
When do I find out if I won?+
The Leaderboard freezes on Sun 15 Nov 23:59 UTC. Results come after the audit, on Drop Day (Tue 17 Nov). Full details are in the official rules.
Will IPX ever DM me?+
No. We never DM first. Only trust ipx.exchange and x.com/IPXExchange.
Glossary
- Aura
- FAN SZN points. Total Aura = your rank on the Leaderboard.
- Daily Drop
- The daily 10-question quiz (5 music and pop culture, 3 Fandom Round, 2 IPX Lore). Opens 00:00 UTC / 05:30 IST.
- Fan Check
- The one-off 7-question onboarding quiz that creates your Fan Card.
- Fan Card
- Your shareable player card: fandom, archetype, Aura, rank, streak. Grows into FAN SZN Wrapped.
- Fandom
- The fan community you rep (12 genre fandoms at launch). One free switch, then locked.
- Verified Fan
- A fandom member who finished a Daily Drop and passed bot checks.
- Encore
- A streak save, earned with every 3 converted Plus-Ones.
- Plus-One
- A friend you invited who finished their first Daily Drop (converted at a 3-day streak).
- Streak ladder
- First Listen → … → Certified Fan; multiplier 2.0× (Day 1) to 2.6× (Day 7); 7/7 = Full Album (+500).
- Fell Off
- What happens when you miss a day: back to Day 1.
- Leaderboard
- The rankings; titles from Main Fan (#1) to Street Team (#501–1,000); Hot 100 = top 100.
- Band (post-TGE)
- A crew of 4–5 players, fandoms can mix. Encore Round = 5 bonus questions when 4+ members play.
- Fandom Wars (post-TGE)
- Fandom-vs-fandom race (Fandom Power, Most Locked-In, weekly wars); the Fandom Crown goes to the top fandom at each monthly snapshot.
- Snapshot / freeze
- The moment ranks are recorded: Sun 15 Nov 23:59 UTC, then monthly in Phase 3.
- Drop Day
- Tue 17 Nov: $IPX TGE + listing, winners announced, post-TGE season starts.
- FAN SZN Wrapped
- The share card of your season, built on the Fan Card.
- Receipts
- Proof you’re a real fan: your linked top artists match your fandom.
- Seal
- A mark added to your Fan Card for each IP launch you back on IPX.
