SMS Terms & Conditions

IPX Production Notifications · Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Program Description

IPX Exchange, operated by IPX Platform LLC (“IPX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), runs the IPX Production Notifications SMS program. The program delivers production and account messages to cast, crew, and platform users who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive text messages.

Messages sent under this program include:

  • Call sheets and production updates — daily call sheet delivery, call time changes, location changes, and weather or safety notices for productions you have been booked on;
  • Crew invitations and booking confirmations — offers to join a production, role and rate confirmations, and scheduling changes;
  • Account notifications — payment and invoice confirmations, document share notifications, and other transactional account activity;
  • Account security — one-time verification codes used to confirm your phone number or sign in to your account.

2. How to Opt In

We only send text messages to people who have given us permission. You may opt in in any of the following ways:

  • In your IPX account — after signing in, go to Dashboard → Verify Phone, enter your mobile number, and tick the SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default, states the message types and frequency, and links to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • When you are invited to a production — a producer inviting you to a project cannot opt you in on your behalf. You receive the invitation by email and must add and confirm your own mobile number, with the consent checkbox above, before any production texts are sent to you.

You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP, by unticking the consent checkbox in your account, or by emailing support@ipx.exchange.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, of creating an account, or of being booked on any production. You may decline and continue to receive the same information by email.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the productions you are booked on. Most users receive up to 10 messages per month. Users actively working on a production may receive up to 2 messages per day during shoot days (typically a call sheet the evening before and any same-day schedule changes).

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

IPX does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges will apply according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

5. How to Opt Out — STOP

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number that sent you the message. After you send STOP, we will send you a message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you want to rejoin, sign up as you did the first time or text START, and we will resume sending messages to you.

We also honor the following opt-out keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, and REVOKE. You may also turn off text notifications in your IPX account settings or email support@ipx.exchange.

6. How to Get Help — HELP

If you are experiencing any problems with the messaging program, text HELP to the number that sent you the message. You will receive a reply with support contact information. You may also reach us directly:

7. Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your mobile carrier’s network and is not guaranteed. Do not rely solely on text messages for time-critical or safety-critical production information; call sheets and schedule changes are also available in your IPX account and by email.

8. Eligibility & Supported Carriers

The program is available to users in the United States who are 18 years of age or older and whose mobile carrier supports SMS. Not all carriers or handsets support every message type. You must be the account holder of, or have authority to use, the mobile number you provide, and you must notify us if that number is reassigned to someone else.

9. Privacy

Your mobile number and message activity are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We share mobile numbers only with the messaging providers that deliver these messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes to the program will be communicated to enrolled users before taking effect.
