How to Use the Marketing Command Center

Navigate the central hub for all your marketing operations on IPX

What You'll Learn

Access the Marketing Suite from your dashboard
Understand the Command Center layout
Navigate between marketing channels
Use the KPI overview panel
Launch AI agent shortcuts
Run the Swarm Executor
Use the active entity selector
Navigate between sections efficiently

Prerequisites: You need an active IPX account with at least one project or entity created. The Marketing Suite is available on all plans, but some AI agent features require a Professional tier or above.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Access the Marketing Suite

There are two ways to open the Marketing Command Center:

  • Dashboard Widget: Click the "Marketing Suite" card on your main dashboard to jump directly into the Command Center
  • Direct URL: Navigate to /dashboard/marketing in your browser

Tip: Bookmark the marketing URL for quick access. The dashboard widget also shows a live preview of your top KPIs so you can check performance at a glance.

2

Understand the Command Center Layout

The Command Center is organized into several key areas:

KPI Overview

Top-level metrics: impressions, clicks, spend, ROAS

Channel Navigation

Switch between Digital, Social, Traditional, Media, Influencer

AI Agent Shortcuts

Quick-launch buttons for each AI marketing agent

Swarm Executor

Run multi-agent orchestration tasks from one panel

3

Navigate Between Marketing Channels

The channel navigation bar lets you switch between five marketing verticals. Each channel has its own dashboard with tailored metrics and actions:

  • Digital: SEO, SEM, display ads, email campaigns, and website analytics
  • Social: Connected social platforms, scheduled posts, engagement metrics
  • Traditional: Print, radio, OOH (out-of-home), and direct mail tracking
  • Media: Video production, podcast sponsorships, press releases
  • Influencer: Creator partnerships, campaign management, performance tracking
4

Use the Active Entity Selector

The entity selector in the top bar controls which project or brand all marketing data applies to:

  • Click the entity dropdown at the top of the Command Center
  • Select the project, token, or brand you want to manage marketing for
  • All KPIs, campaigns, and agent actions will scope to that entity

Note: Switching entities refreshes all dashboard data. If you manage multiple brands, the entity selector keeps your context clean so agents and metrics never cross-contaminate.

5

Launch AI Agent Shortcuts & the Swarm Executor

The Command Center provides quick-launch buttons for individual AI agents and the full swarm executor:

  • Agent Shortcuts: Click any agent card (e.g., "Content Specialist" or "Analytics Expert") to open a focused chat with that agent
  • Swarm Executor: Click "Run Swarm" to orchestrate multiple agents on a single objective — the system coordinates their work automatically

See the Run AI Marketing Agent Swarms guide for a deep dive on agent orchestration.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of the Command Center

Start with the KPI overview

Check your top-level metrics first each session. Anomalies in impressions or spend are easier to catch when you review them daily.

Use channel dashboards for deep dives

The Command Center overview is for big-picture awareness. Click into individual channels when you need granular campaign data.

Pin your most-used channel

If 80% of your work is social media, set it as your default landing view in Marketing Settings so it loads first.

Combine agent shortcuts with swarms

Use individual agent shortcuts for quick tasks (writing a caption) and swarms for complex objectives (launching a full campaign strategy).

Troubleshooting

Marketing Suite not visible on dashboard

Problem: You don't see the Marketing Suite widget or the /dashboard/marketing URL returns a 404.

Solution:

Check the following:

  • Ensure you have at least one project or entity created
  • Verify your account role has marketing permissions (Owner, Admin, or Marketing Manager)
  • Clear your browser cache and reload — the widget may not have rendered after a recent update

KPI data shows zeros or is stale

Problem: The KPI overview panel displays all zeros or obviously outdated numbers.

Solution:

Possible causes:

  • No ad platforms are connected yet — see the Connect Ad Platforms guide
  • The active entity selector may be set to a project with no campaigns
  • Data syncs run every 15 minutes; new connections may take up to an hour for initial data

Agent shortcuts are grayed out

Problem: AI agent shortcut buttons appear disabled or show a lock icon.

Solution:

Agent access depends on your service tier:

  • Starter plans have access to the Content Specialist and Analytics Expert only
  • Upgrade to Professional or Enterprise for full agent access
  • Check your usage limits in Marketing Settings > Billing & Costs
